About Me – a South Leicestershire counsellor
I am a qualified counsellor, practising since 2003, experienced in working with adults — couples and individuals, families and children, young people and teenagers.
I trained and worked with couples at Relate which helped me understand the benefit of supporting the whole family.
I have worked extensively in secondary school/college settings where I have gained a wealth of experience in counselling teenagers.
Counselling for couples, families, and teenagers
Sometimes life can be challenging and you can feel under pressure. I can give you the opportunity to talk in confidence about any difficulties you are facing. I will not take sides.
At times everyone feels worried or has problems that may be hard to talk about with the people close to you. You may worry about whether they will understand, whether you can trust them, whether they will blame you, or ignore your feelings. Together, we can explore your worries and problems and find ways to move forward that are right for you.
A confidential counselling place in Lutterworth
I offer a confidential, safe place and time where I will listen and support you without telling you what to do or judging you. I will ensure each member or of the couple or family has the opportunity to be heard. As everyone’s needs are different it is difficult to know whether the work will be short term or long term but that is something we can discuss and agree.

Outside of counselling
I work for Home-Start, a charity which supports families with young children. I feel passionate about the importance of early intervention to help families when facing challenges.
I have grown up children and come from a large family which I feel gives me a window into the wide variety of challenges and difficulties we all face throughout our lives.
I enjoy exercise classes, walking, travel and reading.
